Written at Corbie. The manuscript of which the fragment is a fly-leaf came from Corbie to St Germain des Prés, where it bore the number '256, olim 235'. Entered the Bibliothèque Nationale during the Revolution.

Script Commentary

Script is an excellent example of the Maurdramnus-type of early Caroline minuscule: a throughout; the oꝛ ligature occurs even in mid-word. For other examples in this type see CLA 5.613.
