Origin uncertain. Contents point to an anti-Irish centre and to Rome. The initials suggest North Italy. No evidence of Lorsch connection, except that the MS was continued in a minuscule hand which may be from Lorsch.

Written in a small, very neat uncial: the second upright of N is often comma-shaped and intersects the cross-stroke; the bow of R is low and open.
