Script Commentary

Script is a graceful and easy specimen of the distinct type known as Corbie a-b and described under CLA 5.554: y is dotted and descends below the line; suprascript a is frequent before ; the uncial form of initial G on fol. 109v with the tail inclined to the left is noteworthy-it is a feature of manuscripts from the North of France. The size of the book suggests that it was used for private devotion.
