| Script Commentary |
Script is early half-uncial resembling in some features the script of the Bodleian Sallust fragment (CLA 2.246), but far more uniform in the size of letters: g is uncial, l extends horizontally below the line, ꞅ ends in a characteristic long finial. The symbols in the left margin are perhaps tachygraphic. Noteworthy is the reversed alphabetical order of the Latin (mo, mi, me, ma). |
