Origin and Provenance

Written presumably in Burgundy, in a centre under Insular influence, as the initial decoration suggests. Came from the library of Bouhier, in which it had the number C. 53 (first fly-leaf). Reached Montpellier in the same way as CLA 6.792.

Script Commentary

Script is a roundish regular Burgundian minuscule: open a resembles two c's; h leans to the left; the top of is looped to the left.
