Origin and Provenance

Written in a scriptorium in the St Gall-Reichenau area. A copy of this MS, now Vienna 482, was written at Reichenau saec. IX. The Vatican part belonged to Goldast (†1635).

Script Commentary

Script is a Germanic minuscule using many ligatures: te, tu, especially ti, and regularly ri; the nt ligature is used in mid-word (a Germanic feature); two forms of a occur, the open being the less common. For details of the other part see under Leiden, CLA 10.**108.
