Script Uncial
Date V (401 - 500)
Origin and Provenance

Written in Italy and probably in the North where it was used liturgically. It is possibly the 'Liber prophetarum quem Hiltiger de Italia adduxit' mentioned in a Reichenau list of books acquired during the abbacy of Erlebald (823–838). Later certainly in the Constance cathedral library where it was used for binding manuscripts, presumably in the middle of the fifteenth century.
