Script Commentary

Script, by several scribes, is crude Alemannic minuscule in vogue in the Lake Constance region: a is almost regularly open; z is tall and striking; ligatures are numerous, including the characteristic nt even in mid-word, ra with the shoulder of r descending to form the right-hand stroke of a (cf. CLA 7.920, 7.931), sp, ti ligature for hard and soft ti. Corrections in ninth-century minuscule.
