Written in an Anglo-Saxon scriptorium presumably on the Continent, probably the centre which produced the Gotha Aldhelm and other grammatical texts mentioned in the preceding item. The fragments come from the bindings of Karlsruhe MSS Aug. 176 and 241. |

Script, by two hands, is a large ungainly Anglo-Saxon minuscule mixed with some majuscule elements: Ᵹ occurs in the form resembling a flat-topped 3; the majuscule form of S is the rule. |
