Script Commentary |
Script is a rather vigorous, yet somewhat compressed Anglo-Saxon minuscule of a distinct type: d has two forms; down-strokes often have an unexpected short hair-line finial at the top, a sign of decline. Glosses in ninth-century Caroline minuscule show Anglo-Saxon influence. |
