Script Commentary |
Script, by more than one hand, is a skilful and rapid Anglo-Saxon minuscule; the eye of e is often detached; initial i-longa occurs frequently with a break at the foot; subscript i occurs; the ei ligature is often used; descenders are long; the bow of q at the beginning of sentences resembles a prancing z. |
