Script Commentary

Script is half-uncial of an early type: there is a certain irregularity in the proportion of letters; the first upright of N goes below the line; the uncial ligatures of NS and UR occur at line-end. Marginal entries in sixth-century cursive referring to paragraphs of the Justinian Code are barely decipherable.
