Script is Rustic capital of an ancient type, with the shaded strokes broad: the left leg of A is mostly a simple straight line without the usual base-stroke; G has either a short tail or none at all; the tail of Q is rather long and runs from left to right, as in ancient cursive; S is slim. The papyrological verso contains a Latin letter of recommendation. |
