Script Commentary |
Script is an early minuscule recalling Italian types: the eye of e rises above the head-line and resembles the Beneventan form; the shoulder of r curves upwards and extends over the following letter; there is a slight resemblance to London Cotton Nero A. II (CLA 2.186). |
