Written, unlike most of our legal fragments, in the western part of the Roman Empire. Our strips, with those of a Pliny manuscript described in the preceding item, were used to protect the quire folds in the sixth-century Vienna Hilary on papyrus MS Lat. 2160* (see CLA 10.1507 where the later history will be found). |
