Script Commentary

Script is chiefly Anglo-Saxon minuscule by several hands of different skill and writing different types, some having unusually long descenders; some passages are in compressed Anglo-Saxon majuscule (fol. 41r–v). One of the scribes gives his name: Gundheri (fol. 94v); the entry 'Nandolf scripsit' on fol. 72v is a probatio pennae.
