Written in an Anglo-Saxon centre, presumably in Germany. The fragment served as jacket to an account towards the end of the sixteenth century; cf. the entry ‘Des haues (?) Vehusen Vascht Beden Register’. It came from the monastery of Werden to which Viehausen belonged. |

Script is pointed Anglo-Saxon minuscule: the top of a is distinctly pointed; d has two forms; i-longa occurs initially; an elongated round s occurs at line-end; descenders are long and tend to lean slightly to the right. |
