| Script Commentary |
Script is apparently an early stage of the Luxeuil type with letters compressed, reminiscent of Merovingian charters: the bow of d after o is open; i-longa occurs initially; o has a tiny horn curving to the right; script on the whole leans to the left; ascenders and descenders are unusually long; ri and ligatures with t are frequent; ti ligature is used for both the hard and soft sounds. |
