| Script Commentary |
Script is a curious and awkward type of pre-Caroline minuscule, manifestly derived from ‘Corbie’ a-b script: a resembles contiguous oc; the stem of d extends below the line, a feature of the ab type; small uncial ꝺ and N occur in the minuscule; l is broken near the base; o is regularly horned; noteworthy is the form of ꞇ at the end of a word; superior a occurs here and there; numerous ligatures. |
