| Script Commentary |
Script is a small slightly uneven Rustic Capitai and constitutes one of the oldest examples of this type of writing. In the Gallus fragment A is barred; upper loop of B and R is narrow; M and N are broad; O has sometimes a pointed, sometimes a flattened top; V is often rather broad; Y is formed like Greek upsilon. |
