| Script Commentary |
Script is a mixed uncial (A D G S) and early half-uncial (b d m r) with some resemblance to CLA Supplement 1708: the bow of A is shallow and mostly pendant, and it connects to the upright without a penlift; C and G, both rectangular, are distinguished by the long tail of G descending to the left; the bows of b and D are full; H has the capital form; L descends below the base-line with its foot extending obliquely or horizontally beneath the next letter; r is decidedly square-shouldered; S is top-heavy. Greek influence is apparent in A, E, P, and N (thin oblique). |
