| Script Commentary |
Script is a curious mixture of uncial and half-uncial with some cursive elements: uncial a occasionally occurs, but this letter usually has the oc form; D and G are consistently uncial, S and R generally so (the half-uncial forms found once each at line-end and in suprascript additions—both forms used once in ‘esse’); the long ascender of D breaks or curves to the right; the final stroke of R is often a medial horizontal; b, f, and m are half-uncial; the first stroke of m curves inward, the last is straight; the top of t has no finials; ligatures include ae, et, and NT. The script resembles that in CLA 7.862 except for the forms of R and t. |
