Written most likely in England, possibly in an Anglo-Saxon centre on the Continent. Our fragment was removed from the binding of a fifteenth-century Latin-German prayer book, which belonged to cardinal János Simor, archbishop of Esztergom (†1891). It could not be located in 1963 (teste L. Mezey). |
