| Script Commentary |
Script is an irregular and ungainly pre-Caroline minuscule: a and t are like the forms found in Beneventan; the curved back of c and of e is often broken; the lower part of g is compressed and angular as in Merovingian charters; suprascript u is a horizontal flourish. Part of foll. 98v and 99 contains liturgical notes by a somewhat later hand; foll. 99v and 100 contain probationes pennae. |
