Script Commentary

Script is a bold Irish majuscule: d is regularly half-uncial; N, R, S are usually uncial; Y has two forms. The letters after an initial or capital are often larger than the ordinary, and only gradually approach the normal size. Some corrections and additions by contemporary and later Insular hands.
