Written probably in North or Central Italy after 787, the date when the History of the Lombards was completed. Rewritten most likely at Assisi. On fol. 4 is a late ex-libris (saec. XVII): 'Bibliotecae Sacri Conventus Assisiensis'. The MS was removed from the Sacro Convento to the Biblioteca Comunale in 1884. Repaired at Grotta Ferrata in 1936. |

Script is a small uncial of a late type: the bow of uncial A is roundish; the base of L has a vertical finial; the bow of R is low; the top of T has two downward finials. |
