Origin and Provenance

Written in some Rhaetian centre, quite likely at Chur, to judge by the striking similarity to the script of St Gall 348.

Script Commentary

Script is a typical Rhaetian minuscule by two scribes (both seen on fol. 48): there is a general resemblance to Beneventan in the ductus of the first hand, strengthened by the form of a and t and the ri ligature; y is v-shaped and dotted.
