Origin and Provenance

Origin uncertain, presumably Italy. The leaves were placed along with other fragments in the volume designated as Appendix to MS 1 (1) by Joannes Jacobus de Dionysiis, Canon of Verona, in 1758. Recently repaired in the Vatican.

Script Commentary

Script is a bold, clear uncial of an old type: the bow of uncial A is pointed; the hasta of uncial E is high; the tail of 𐌾 is very short; the oblique of N is thick; the bow of P is small.
