Origin and Provenance

Written in England or in an Anglo-Saxon centre on the Continent, possibly in Echternach. The title in the familiar fifteenth-century Echternach librarian's hand and the old press-mark 'B 4' are found on fol. 2 (see fol. 2). First catalogued in the Bibliothèque Nationale as Suppl. Lat. 1546.
