Written presumably in North Italy, since this rough draft doubtless originated in the same scriptorium where the final copy of the Glossary was made. For later history, see CLA 7.967a.

Script is in part uncial, in part minuscule showing cursive features: the shoulder of minuscule r often extends over the following letter. The lowermost script of the palimpsest, containing Hieremias in a pre-Vulgate version in uncial saec. V, is CLA 7.971; the uppermost script, containing this same Glossary in uncial saec. VII–VIII is CLA 7.967a.
