Script Commentary |
Script, by several hands, is a bold early Caroline minuscule with numerous ligatures, including suprascript a: both Insular and Caroline g are used; uncial R is frequent in one hand. Some corrections saec. XI. A number of interesting sketches, probably saec. XII, are seen in the margins of foll. 54, 55, 85, 114, 132, and 165. |
