Origin and Provenance

Written doubtless in North Italy, and probably at Bobbio, where presumably it was used for rewriting the text of Isaias in the seventh century. The volume to which this leaf is attached has the familiar Bobbio ex-libris on fol. 1.

Script is a well-developed sloping half-uncial (Turin F. IV. 1, fasc. 4 containing the same subject-matter is also in sloping half-uncial, but of a different type).
