Origin and Provenance

Written presumably in Italy. Perhaps to be identified with No. 8 in the catalogue of 1461. Removed from Bobbio probably after the suppression of the monastery in 1803. Destroyed by fire in 1904.

Script Commentary

Script is a well-formed, graceful uncial by more than one hand: descenders end in a curve to the left. Breves and prologues are in a much smaller script.
